I’m a Gen Z Michael fan who became a fan from the recent biopic. I’ve cancelled my Netflix subscription after seeing the trailer of “The Verdict”. I find the timing and framing of this documentary to be disrespectful, disingenuous and another smear from the media that Michael had faced for years. 17 years after his death, the media still continues a smear campaign against them. ‘Coincidentally’ right after he starts hitting tops of charts and gaining a younger generation of fans… when will it end? I hope me writing this shows that there are newer Michael Jackson fans, we’ve looked through the facts of the matter, and Netflix is doing this to smear him further after a resurgence in his fame, and to cash in on the return of Michael Mania. Gen Z Moonwalkers exist and we want Netflix to take this down.
