EK council also have to implement wardens/or employ more wardens to book the cars,vans that use footpaths as part of there parking space, we had a incident with our young grandson who has mobility problems who was walking just steps from me right into some idiots wing mirror what a sore face he received, now our grandson was out of his wheelchair for a bit of exercise, & independence, along footpath, this is a disgrace & when I called council no one got back to me regarding this ,maybe the next kid that getss hurt with a wing mirror due to foolish parking someone may just be angry enough to remove or damage the drivers wing mirror as EK council obviously don't have wardens patrolling areas in EK, disgusting a child can't have a few minutes of independence with his splints on to walk freely !!!! So disgusted at EKDC

I believe SNG have approached this situation completely from the wrong angle!
IF it is about making the homes more eco friendly - I believe that could be done without regeneration.
It would save compulsory purchase and aggravation for owners And their tenants.
Keep the community together and improve South Ham and Buckskin, without destroying the essence of it and breaking up the great communities!

We went through the floods and now we're having to face our homes being demolished.!! Do SNG realise how hard it is to live life in limbo.? Haven't we been through enough.? We are a community and know all of our neighbours. Not knowing where we'll end up is just torture. We're real people not statistics. We're being kept in the dark. Why are SNG buying all the private bungalows now, if the work isn't starting for years. They're not telling us the truth

Currently a SNG tenant within South Ham. My home is perfectly fine. I run my business from home with SNG permissions. My children attend the local schools both located 3 minutes away from our home. They have recently given me permission to upgrade my properties garden, forking out £4500. Why would they have me spend my savings! Why say yes! Why allow me to upgrade if they are to demolish my home? SnG has not handled this well. All of us are in limbo, awaiting bad news. This affects myself, my sisters home and my mums home! 3 from 1 family could be uprooted! I do not agree with them doing this to us all. Moving me, will incur financial strain! I'd need to relocate my business and I'd have start up costs once again! I might even need to completly start from scratch with a new cabin as how can I transport what I already have. Not only that, my working hours would have to change as I'd now have school runs to do which eats into my working time! This will cause me ruin! I've built my business locally and to restart would be to restart everything. I don't think i have the ability to do that, therefore this decision would ruin me!
