My daughter has been learning Latin for nearly 3 years, really enjoys it and was planning to study this for GCSE and potentially beyond. Please can the school look at further options to enable this subject to be continued at West Kirby, at least for those who are were planning to do it for GCSE in year 10 in 2025. There must be a way to make this happen!

Latin as a subject is of intrinsic value. An understanding of Latin underpins much of our world as our scientific terms all come from Latin. Please reconsider this decision. To lose Latin is to lose a valuable part of our education.
