My name is Sam, and I'm a transmasc college student here in Connecticut. While I am very lucky to live in a blue state and am old enough to advocate for my own healthcare - my heart goes out to trans people in Florida, Texas, and many other states which are becoming very hateful and discriminatory towards trans people. From a young age, I knew that I didn't identify with my born sex - hell, I even remember scribbling out my given name in kindergarten - and I'm sure there are many people who share similar stories. We need to stop pushing this myth that trans people, and especially trans women - are "predators," "men taking over women's spaces," or "trying to convince kids to be something they are not." Trans education and healthcare in no way impacts the ability of cis people to live fulfilling lives, and trans people are no more likely than any other person to commit such a crime. To use the same rhetoric that was used to abstain gay people from marriage or segregate other groups of people - is incredibly ignorant and proves that many lawmakers who vote on this topic don't bother to research into what trans people actually are. The only real "cure" for gender dysphoria *is* gender affirming care and a social transition - and it has been proven that the brains of transgender people are more chemically similar to their identified gender than their sex at birth. As a biology major, I find it repulsive that, many of these lawmakers, use "common sense" and "biology" as argument points without having a background in biology or medicine at all, nor having any accounts from actual trans people. There is no reason why people should not be able to live a life that makes them feel comfortable - and does not harm anyone else.

I am a trans teen who has been looking forward to being able to be who I am soon and I’ll be damned if that’s taken away from me without some kind of protest.

we should have the right to be ourselves there are plenty of people out there who are forced down y others and I cant just sit around and be silent! I just came out as trans to my mom and step dad but am still closeted in the house I live in with my grandparents. I may not be 18 yet but I want to be able to be myself when I am, my bf is also trans and he is closeted due to safety at home. we would like to be ourselves. just bc we aren't 18 yet doesn't mean that we cant speak up

I’ve always been a part of a conservative family, I grew up as a Christian and throughout my life I've always been taught to love my neighbors, however that rule didn’t seem to apply to LGBTQIA folks because somehow they are where god draws the line, I’ve grown up quite a bit since then, now I identify as a agender lesbian (afab) I would love to show support to all my fellow LGBTQIA folks because you all matter live happily as the gender you are deep down as gender and sex are not the same thing <3

I am a non-binary/trans person. I don't know what I might want in the future but I want to have access to healthcare that I need. The regret rate for gender affirming care is 1%, less than a tattoo, hip replacement etc. These "kids" who you think don't know what they want, know exactly who they are and have the right to access the care they need. This is not a place for politics, it is for the individual person and that person alone.

Dr. Duroman is a wonderful OBGYN! He helped me through my first pregnancy and now I'm pregnant again and wish more than anything he was still my OBGYN. He was caring, always made me feel comfortable, answered all my crazy first time mom worries and questions with a smile on his face. He is missed and they made a big mistake letting him go!

I was on t4 synthetic medication for 10 Years and it never alleviated my hypothyroidism. Had a totally thyroidectomy for thyroid cancer. Felt awful on t4 only. Thankfully I found an educated doctor who saw I was not converting t4 to t3 and added T3 to my treatment. This gave me my life back!

My employer and insurance company are forcing mail in pharmacy with a cost increase of one medication of $62. I'm being told the cost increase is due to the convenience of getting the meds by mail.. it isn't a convenience if I'm being forced into
