I have had 4 children intolerant to dairy and soy, one of whom was also intolerant to corn. With the formula options available, the only tolerable options were comprised of more than 50% corn syrup solids. This was not an option for my third child, but is it even a good choice for any child? I was left with breastfeeding on a very restrictive diet as my only option. It was not sustainable for long, so I was happy to have a toddler formula I could transition to that was made from real whole foods. Mothers need an option that provides real nutrition, not just calories, for their babies with multiple food allergies. Please proceed with the approval process for Else Nutrition’s Infant formula.
As a mother who believes Nutrition IS THE MOST IMPORTANT COMPONENT to raising a healthy , well developing child. I use Else for my child, since she was 1 and it is a standard in my home! I love there are no hidden poisons in to what I am putting in to my child's body. It's quick, easy, tasty and i am able to breathe better knowing my child is getting all the essentials to continue to gtow up healthy.
I'm a mom who is anaphylactic to dairy. I couldn't breastfeed, I couldn't safely use any diary formul for my daughter when she was born without risking my life. To top it off, my kid was born with a soy allergy and celiac. A plant based option available in the US would make if safer for allergic moms and babies.
When my son was diagnosed with dairy intolerance, it was shocking to see the low quality ingredients in the formulas available for his conditions. I am signing this petition with the hope that this concerned is heard, our babies deserve better.
