These firefighters are not just first responders, they are someone’s family & friends. Everyone in my family is or was a firefighter, so I understand the need for these kinds of things. You want to make sure your family & friends are taken care of. Having access to these things could be the difference between life & death. I’m very grateful to still have each one of my family members here. They put their lives on the line to save people, as a society, as a community we need to take care of our first responders because they’re just as important & need just as much support as anyone else.
Samantha supported: Firefighters demand restored access to critical detox treatmentAs we rely, heavily, on our firefighters to respond to our needs, in urgent and not-so-urgent events, how is it that they are denied treatment for ‘their’ suffering and potential diagnosis of a malignant neoplasm? Without our support, in making this treatment readily available to them, we are sanctioning their suffering and denying them a quality of life that they deserve.

Can’t believe that the medicine is refused. It needs to be available and affordable thru insurance or workman’s comp- I don’t exactly understand if workman’s comp wud be of any value, with this situation.
Medicine to help clear the lungs of toxin produced by various types of smoke from grass to plastics t toxin fumes is a necessity for this specific job type!

The least we can do is fight for their survival! Give them a chance to undo the damage the job does to their bodies and give them back the years of life that fire-related damage threatens to take away! Our firefighters give so much and ask for so little, don’t let their sacrifices, sacrifices my fiancée and so many of our friends make, go up in smoke.

For our 1st responders to be exposed to such life threatening toxins to save OUR lives.. lives of people they don't even know! They jump up from their own homes just to save strangers lives & homes! They of all people should have access of whatever they need to keep themselves healthy. If these brave people choose to stop being firefighters, your home could be the next to go up in flames! Please help to keep these life savers lives healthy!
