The feedlot smell is severely impacting the quality of life for my family and myself. The persistent and unpleasant odor in our area has become a significant source of distress and health concerns. Imagine moving into an almost million-dollar house only to notice foul smell that prevents us from fully enjoying our home.
The intensity of the odor is such that it lingers in my nose, inducing headaches that persist long after the smell has dissipated. Every time I go outside my home, I am overwhelmed with anxiety due to the anticipation of encountering bad odor.
I vomit, triggered by the smell, and the effects linger for more than a day. This has had a detrimental impact on my physical well-being and emotional state.
I earnestly request the relevant authorities to address this issue promptly and effectively.
The overwhelming odor from the nearby feedlot makes it nearly impossible for both kids and adults to enjoy outdoor activities like soccer and other sports at the Ziplex fields, forcing families indoors.
It is incredible that we can’t enjoy a good day outdoors. Our kids can’t play outside, and also I am concerned we get health issues because of the pollution that it causes. FEEDLOTS ARE A BIG SOURCE OF POLLUTION!
Animal feedlot has very punching smell occasionally that makes our lives little difficult for those who move new to the location.
We weren’t aware of this before moving in….
I am okay with the farm smell that feels like we are living in a country side but the problem is sometimes we smell methane or some chemicals kind smell. So kind of afraid it going to have some health hazards.
So requesting to take some action at least to get rid of the punchant smell
Thanks
The smell coming from feedlot is annoying for residents and highly unhealthy for kids. My kids and family falling sick with different allergies at least twice a year or more
The odor is awful at times and impacts everyone especially kids but it looks like most residents who r staying in melissa for long time support the feedlot to stay in melissa for valid reasons of their own .None of the residential community builders never mentioned about this awful smell to the buyers n it doesn’t smell 24x7 so people who brought especially from other states have no idea about this issue. To start with city of Melissa should not have given permission to residential communities so close to the lot.
