I care about this issue because if we don’t do something about this soon there will be no turning back. For a long time the people of this country have accepting things as they are, believing that we aren’t the ones responsible for making change, but we can’t afford to do that anymore. We’ve been tricked into fighting amongst ourselves instead of looking for the real enemy, who’ve been pretending to have our best interests in mind this whole time. It isn’t right that a few should have a measurable percent of the world’s resources, while the bottom 50% struggle to keep our heads above water. I worry that we are already too far gone and that many have already been deceived in full by our honorless “leaders”. It seems like this democracy has already given up its lust for freedom, like it was voted away without a question every being raised.
I make a living selling vintage items on Marketplace. I've been selling on Marketplace for 5 years now and I built up a nice clientele and I love Marketplace. This is the first major issue I've had with them and it's a big one when it comes to not getting our payouts. This is my livelihood and I'm getting behind on my bills. I have payouts owed to me from Feb to present day. Right now the total is 6 payouts owed & there's be no explanation from Meta or any live customer support to talk to.
I’m not pregnant and have not had a baby yet but I have learned so much through this account and feel so excited to know there are more options than just hospital birth. I thought the only way to birth was with an epidural. I was never taught any of this. I thought the only position you could give birth in was on your back. I’m 25 years old now and have learned so much because of access to this knowledge and imagery. It is not sexual, it is not explicit, it is the most natural thing in the world and hiding this info places shame on it. Make it accessible. Have it pop up on someone’s feed so one day it’s normal and not taking anyone by surprise.
I care about this issue because this account shows us what doctors in big hospitals won’t tell us about birth and our birthing options. We don’t always need a hospital birth for a safe and effective delivery!
After 18 years I was permanently banned after trying to add 3 family photos to an album under the guise of "account integrity." All my memories, photos, and videos are gone, with no recourse to get them back. The algorithms and AI that police this platform have ruined it. I'm one of millions now that has been subjected to a permanent ban based on a false positive.
After having an account for 16 years I was suspended and banned for no good reason. I have been disabled for the last 3 years, I don't leave my house. Facebook was the only way for me to be social and stay in touch with friends and family. I was part of a lot of groups that helped support me. I have years of memories that are very important to me. I have been very depressed, I just want my account reinstated.
I email every day and I get nothing. Account shows pending under review from appeal.
I had my Instagram account since 2019. Over the years, it became a space of collecting memories & staying connected with friends. April 2025, I deactivated the account for privacy and mental health reasons, something I believed was supported by the platform. Despite this, my account was deleted without any warning, email, or chance to appeal. I hadn’t violated any rules. I simply needed a break. Instead of being respected for protecting my mental health, I was deleted. Instagram needs to be more transparent and humane in how it handles user accounts. No one should lose years of their digital life without explanation or recourse. And why does this platform offer no customer service? The help center is functionally useless. I’m hearing the platform recently overhauled their operations to Meta AI. Now what did we learn here after making such a move: Mass deletion of innocent accounts and no way to obtain your data after the fact. This completely unacceptable.
Frank the Christmas Gargoyle started as a story about standing up to a bully. He became so much more. His likeness had been used to raise money for worthy causes. I have seen pages and post comments that blatantly violate the Facebook "community standards." I have reported several, only to receive a reply that the page or comment doesn't violate anything. Reinstate Frank's page!
