I have been a victim of tip baiting on the Spark Driver platform. The tip was significantly reduced for no apparent reason. Both instances I delivered very difficult, heavy orders and traveled 10-15 miles to the customers location. I am struggling financially and supporting my 3 small children. This has to be stopped!!!! It’s unjust and unfair!!!

I've been doing gig work since 2017. Love it. Recently started doing Spark and found out about the 24hr tip reversal after being tip baited. 3 orders in the last 2 weeks. All 3 I handed directly to the customer. We have no control over pick up orders and customers take ot put on us if items are missing. We cannot look through all of the items in an order. It's not feasible and not for us to do. It should all be checked by the Walmart employee. I have high ratings with all of my apps and have never been deactivated with any service. Tip baiting is absurd and completely unfair. We did our job. We held up our responsibility. This should be taken into consideration when making big decisions like this. I've watched this happen with other companies. The quality of drivers and the way orders are handle drastically nose dives as companies do things like this. I take pride in what I do, even if it is just a delivery driver. Let's keep it that way.

It is very unfair that customers are allowed to take back tips after delivery. It happens all the time. I get advertised a $10 tip then after successful delivery they reduce the tip to $1. Tips placed should be locked in once they submit their order and at the very least they can add MORE after delivery but not reduce

We put major wear and tear on our vehicles to provide this service and without tips the base pay does not support us enough to pay for gas and maintenance to our own PERSONAL vehicles. Tip baiting is a real problem. Leave customers the option to increase the tip - not change it all together. It’s as simple as that. Thank you and I truly hope you will consider changing this option on the app.

Every food service place I've worked ive been allowed to have my nails done. I think it's a way of expressing ourselves. If their was a compromise where we could wear gloves if we have our nails done or something. I know all my coworkers get upset by not being allowed to. Especially when I have a date or a family event and I wanna do my nails but obviously can't take them off by the next day for work so I just don't get them done...it just really sucks to be honest. I think if we came to a compromise and wore gloves then it would make a lot of partners happy.

I have an interview this Wednesday finding out I can’t wear nail polish is cruel to me getting mani pedis are like my therapy I’m forced to got without it ive worked in the restaurant business pretty much my whole adult life & nails never been an issue that’s why we have disposable gloves very restrictive

I am 23 years old and for every job i’ve ever had, Nails have been no issue as there are gloves available to be used. I understand that Starbucks is working on sustainability through “for here” mugs and cups in the cafe and the decline in straw use. But I believe that Being able to feel feminine and the ability to express your style is important not only for expression but also overall mental health and feeling confident in one’s self. If partners are able to get acrylic nails (which rarely ever just fall off, and almost never chip) I think it would have a positive impact for partners who enjoy the luxury of getting their nails done. I would go as far as buying my own gloves to wear to work so starbucks wouldn’t have to provide extra. There is no harm done in letting a partner express themselves and feeling confident. Not one customer would have an issue with a partner having their nails done either.

in food safety training, it states nails may be polished if one wears gloves. however, starbucks is strict on no nails, disregarding the glove rule. many partners value self expression, especially with the rising lgbt population of partners. many partners or potential partners i know are either quitting or refusing the job because of this rule.

I am currently working in a hostile environment and being harassed. I suffer from Major Depression when I fall deep into my depression I begin to have suicidal thoughts. So in 2022 I tried to commit suicide, I was found in time and after my kids begged me to receive help I submitted myself into the hospital where I was a resident for a month in. I got sat down with my Fry's store manager about changing depts and begin to better days and maintaining them. I was put at fuel center, where right from the start I was being threatened, belittled by name calling, and so on. It was awful. It took Numerous outreach towards my management for assistance, just for them to tell me Just try to stay away from her avoid causing any issues cause we can't afford to lose her right now. I want to say, I've been employed with the company for 5 years at this and the person I was having problems with was a 6 month in New hire. I didn't accept that solution, I filed a complaint to H.R along with Union. However, till this day I have not received help from nobody. So the retaliation began, write ups suspensions, investigations for made up policies, sabotage, they hired people that made a hostile work environment for me daily by getting yelled at cursed out, they shorten my hours to 30 or less while the new hires were 40. They approved my vacation days but I never got paid for them, they wrote me up for what should of been grievance when my husband passed away. Management would smirk at me, knowing I was losing my ability to keep going, asking me Are you Alright? They were and still are trying to weaken me back into my depression, suicidal stage. They're heartless!!! EEOC has filed a disability discrimination charge along with retaliation, which is in the investigation stage right now But even that hasn't stopped the hostility and the harassment being done towards me. So many times I feel like giving in, asking if it's worth all this but when I start to feel like I can't do it. My kids tell me, I'm worth more than these people want me to believe, I can't let the evil when in this one cause I'm not the only one they did this to and if I give up they'll be more people that'll be hurt by them.. I put my faith in God Each Day I'm Blessed with asking him Please God don't leave my side as I walk through this devious path unaware of what they have planned next for me. As of today, I've been on this path now for a little over Two years & All I could do is pray for the day to come I'm not afraid, walking on eggshells, worried about what pain are they going to put upon me next..
