Fight the fight . Potbelly pigs were designed to be pets . They are highly intelligent. I personally fought the fight and got my borough manager to allow me to keep him as a service pig .

Mini Pigs offer emotional support given their intelligence and bonding with people. They are smaller than large dogs, much quieter and very clean. Mine have brought me tremendous peace during some ingredient times.

We too live in Fl, and own potbelly pigs. Code enforcement tried to tell us that we couldn't have them because our home was zoned as residential and not agricultural. After doing some research I proved to them that potbelly pigs are not "farm animals." They are actually domestic pets. After that we were left alone. Maybe you should bring that up to them as well.

As a veteran with anxiety and PTSD I understand how important this is. Taking her away is wrong. Why are these the things we are worried about? Why not the hundreds of dogs who are dumped daily in this area??

Pot Belly pigs are NOT farm animals! They are treasured and loved members of the family. They also make wonderful emotional support animals. Please don’t make people give up their beloved support animals.

As a DV survivor in St. Johns County myself, I understand the need for a service animal, and to take away security from a PTSD affected person, will cause more emotional trauma to this individual. Please reconsider

I have personally met Ms. Piggy and she is a wonderful addition to Corliss' household. I don't understand the issue with her, because she isn't loud, she doesn't roam the neighborhood, and she truly is a joy to be around. Ms. Piggy isn't a farm animal. She doesn't belong on a farm. Please hear our voice and let her remain in home.

I myself have a Juliana pig that I’ve had since she was 2 weeks old. She is smarter and much cleaner than my dog. Pigs make great pets and the stigma of them being filthy and nasty needs to be re thought. I love my girl and would fight tooth and nail for her and other domesticated pigs!

I use and train service dogs and also breed mini pigs. Many of my pigs have been donated as ESA and as a navy wife they also make excellent partners for our veterans with PTSD. I hope someday that they can join the ranks of dogs and mini horses as service animals. I also do animal assisted therapy visits with several of my piggy’s and have trained and gotten dozens of dogs TDI certified over the decades.
