How incredibly cruel on so many levels. Elephants have been exploited by humans for far too long. They deserve better! We need to step up and be better stewards for these amazing creatures! Be their voice. Stand up for wildlife and give them a good life, free from entertainment, free from separation and free from exploitation. Be the change!

Please send Indu to a certified elephant sanctuary where she can live the rest of her life in peace in the company of other elephants. After making the Phoenix Zoo money as an exhibit for so long, and being an ambassador for elephants to your visitors for so long, it is right and just to give her a retirement among other elephants. We can and must do better by animals that we use for our purposes.

To kill her, dismember her body, and then the burial alone is probably going to cost tons. It's probably cheaper to have her placed somewhere safe.
