I am in receipt of PIP and UC. I have worked all my life but in 2017 I was diagnosed with a chronic illness. I now have 7 chronic illnesses and can no longer work.
To strip me or anyone else of our payments when we already have enough to contend with on a daily basis is wrong and it's cruel. No one chooses to be sick, no one chooses to have mental Health issues. It's unacceptable that we should be further punished due to the fact we are sick.
This government has deliberately targeted the elderly, the sick and the most vulnerable whilst inserting a new payrise for themselves. Its an absolute disgrace, why do we the people not matter anymore to this country? Its shameful and I am embarrassed about how badly run this country is. I care about this causes deeply because if we have enough money to give away in foreign aid and on illegals arriving on our shores every day then we should have enough to prioritise our elderly and sick people.

Sara supported: Reform the Recent Changes to Disability BenefitsAlthough I am a life long Labour member, I completely disagree with these PIP reforms, I receive these payments and struggled very hard against a Conservative government that did it's utmost to prevent me getting it. I cannot believe a Labour government is doing this. Instead of looking at cuts to the vulnerable Close the tax loopholes and make the rich pay their share of the tax burden.
