You took away the only candy I willingly bought with my own hard earned money. I NEVER used to treat myself with a sweet treat not even during “that time of the month” until after I tried these. They became my only craving and cheat treat. During pregnancy was even worse it became an obsession and I made my s/o hunt some down for me. Imagine my disappointment when he came home empty handed telling me that it turned out he didn’t find any anywhere bc they’d been discontinued. Now maybe it was just the hormones but I cried. He tried to make it better by buying all these similar items including your replace item and other brands but NOTHING hit the same way this did. He told me to “just try the sour skittles it might satisfy you they’re like the same thing.” Let me tell you it did NOT and they weren’t even CLOSE. I threw (gently tossed) one at his forehead then I cried bc of all that money wasted on things I ended up despising all bc they weren’t THIS. Please stop torturing us and give the people what they want I beg of you. With love from this loyal customer who has refused to eat candy since these left her life <3
This was my favorite candy. The candy you get every time you stop at the gas station for a long road trip. The candy you buy to sneak into the movies. The candy you hope is in your stocking on christmas. I need them back please!
This was one of my favorite snacks when I was a child. I would love to have the chance to eat the candy that always brought me so much joy in my childhood. There is no other like it.
I remember eating a stick of shock tarts almost daily in the 90's as a kid.
As an adult I managed to make through a couple of rebrands. For the last year and a half, I've had braces and the first thing I wanted when they came off was this candy. To my surprise, they no longer exist!
I keep hearing that prior to the discontinuation of this candy, they changed the recipe and people were appalled. I plead to bring the original recipe back into production. The candy market has horrible sour candy options and this was always the best.
My mouth yearns to feel the burn!
The only candy that ever did sour right. I’ve been chasing that high for YEARS now but am inevitably disappointed with every new candy I try. I still catch myself scanning over and over the spot they used to hold on the gas station shelf. Something in my brain can’t accept this loss.
These were the pinnacle of my childhood. When I found they were gone I was heartbroken. There's nothing like them anymore, I feel like there's a hole inside me that nothing but these sour discs can fill. Please, I beg you, bring them back and allow my soul to be complete.
These were my favorite candy and there is no other candy on the market to replace them in the US. It is truly a shame as they were one of the most popular sour candies. These also happen to be a favorite to many people I know and all can agree that we have never found anything to come close to the original Shockers. Please bring these back, there are so many fond memories people also associate with this particular candy.
My brother was obsessed with this candy, it didn’t just give him joy, it also gave him pain. But a good pain. A “pain don’t hurt pain.” Bring them back for him to be happy please.
