Change the Mascot

The topic of changing mascots has gained traction as communities seek to address cultural insensitivity and racism in sports and public imagery. Petitions urge organizations to retire mascots that perpetuate harmful stereotypes and promote inclusivity. Among the key issues are the use of Native American imagery in sports logos, with petitions advocating for respectful representation and acknowledgment of indigenous peoples voices. Notable petitions call for the removal of offensive mascots, such as the Washington Football Teams former logo. By supporting these petitions, individuals can advocate for social justice and challenge institutions to adopt more inclusive and respectful symbols. Join the movement to change mascots and promote diversity and understanding in the public sphere.
