As an OBGYN I see the ongoing damage through obstetric violence, particularly anybody with a lesser heard voice, such as migrants, LGBTQ+ community members, girls, and women of colour. I am renaming the speculum in my OR as words matter, and history matters.
Sabrina supported: Relocate the J. Marion Sims Monument to the site of Mothers of Gynecology Clinical Museum
My grandson was in this school in the next room when this happened. He still won't talk about it
Patricia supported: ESPN : Honor Kendrick Castillo, Joshua Jones and Brendan Bialy at the 2025 ESPY Awards.
I have two children on the spectrum and I am terrified that she would be harmed because she is aggressive. Kids who are aggressive on the spectrum tend to be more abused than those who are not .

The lies we were told about green space, parks and walking trails by Lennar when buying our house in Clift Farms, is unacceptable. Keep your promise, stop lying to the residents.
Geetanjali supported: Tell Breland to add Green Areas in Our Neighborhood (Clift Farm)
Making Election Day a federal holiday in the United States could increase voter turnout by providing citizens with more time to vote without work conflicts. In the 2020 election, 13.1% of registered voters who didn’t vote cited being too busy or having scheduling conflicts as the reason. Additionally, such a holiday would celebrate democracy, turning voting into a nationwide event. This approach aligns with practices in other countries and has significant public support; a Pew Research Center survey found that nearly 80% of Democrats and nearly 70% of Republicans favor making Election Day a federal holiday.
Ryan supported: Make Election Day a Federal Holiday in the U.S.
Many teenagers, like myself, are politically educated and want a say in who rules our country. If the voting age is lowered, it means that younger voices would be heard, it would promote more voting, and possibly encourage more teens to educate themselves politically to prepare. Sixteen year olds should be allowed to vote and stand for what they believe in.
Lillis supported: Lower the National voting age to 16 in the United States
This is ridiculous the amount being charged even in a brand new home with up to date installation and hardly using power yet having $600-$800 power bills is insane! It’s not like we can choose to go to other companies so we are just being screwed over and no ability to change. Should not cost this much to have something we all need. It’s taking advantage of people.
Kimberly supported: Limit the Monthly Charges Imposed by Alabama Power
I’m 21 with two children. I use the bare minimum of power that includes cooking and keeping the house warm. My bill was well over 500 this month and I’ve used the same amount of everything each month and it was 150 when I moved in so the jump in cost is NOT justifiable. Alabama power are a bunch of crooks stealing from the lower class. They need to be abolished and a new power company put in place. They make it hard for people that are working all day everyday to keep their homes heated, food on the table etc.
