Thousands of families in Armenia struggle every day to put food on the table, especially children and the elderly. Meanwhile, many supermarkets throw away tons of perfectly good food every day or pay for recycling. This is not only wasteful, but it’s a loss of resources that could help those in need.

We, Armenian Food Bank, have already submitted a proposal to the Ministry to create a law requiring stores and supermarkets to donate unsold edible food to charitable organizations. Now, we need your support to show that the public wants this law to become a reality.
