The Issue

Pass and Promote IDOL Mumbai University students (Distance-Learning) as given below to the next respective class.

*(FY BA/B.Com, SY BA/B.Com/B.Sc CS and Part I of MA, MA Education, M.Com, M.Sc Maths, M.Sc IT)*

  • According to recent updates regarding in the view of the massive disruption in academics during the Covid-19 pandemic, on 19th may a circular had been uploaded on the IDOL university website, that FY-SY exams are to be conducted after 4 months. We the students of IDOL Mumbai university (Distance-Learning) requesting the IDOL Mumbai University shouldn't conduct the exam. It is said that in the given notice, the IDOL Mumbai University will be conducting the exam for the same class after 4 months even after the students are in the next respective class.
  • We the students of IDOL Mumbai University should be passed and promoted to the next respective class. Even the Mumbai University has passed and promoted the FY-SY regular students, so why there is injustice between the IDOL Mumbai University (i.e distance learning) students and regular Mumbai University students. As it is causing a lot of stress to students and also many youths are suffering from the pandemic which is affecting the world.
  • We surely want justice ( i.e All the IDOL Mumbai University Students should be passed and promoted to the next respective class ).
  • As it is causing imbalance to the whole academic year. The Mumbai University and IDOL Mumbai University is one and all the same so hereby there should be no discrimination between both the university students.
