The Issue

We, the undersigned, strongly object to the proposed 30 metre telecommunications mast next to the ASDA Petrol Station (Planning Application Ref: 26/00001/FUL).

This development is not right for our area.

At 30 metres in height, the mast would be completely out of scale with surrounding buildings and would introduce a large, industrial structure into a residential and local retail environment. Its size and design would create a visually intrusive landmark on a key route into and out of Huyton Village.

The proposed location is also too close to nearby homes, particularly on Archway Road and Poplar Bank. This would result in an unacceptable impact on residents’ amenity, outlook and overall quality of life.

While we recognise the need for reliable mobile coverage, this proposal is in the wrong location and fails to respect the character of our community.

We are calling on Knowsley Council to:

  • Refuse planning permission for this application
  • Protect the character and appearance of our area

Our community deserves development that is appropriate, proportionate and in the right place.

Sign this petition to show your objection and stand up for our area.
