For seven years, Minecraft has been more than just a game to me; it has been a place for creativity and a source of cherished memories. However, recent rumors and leaks regarding a potential Fortnite x Minecraft collaboration has left me quite concerned about the game, especially considering that I'm not a fan of Fortnite myself. While these reports remain unconfirmed, now is the time to speak up. I am starting this petition to preserve the unique identity and "feel" of Minecraft. Many of us believe that Minecraft’s value lies in its distinct world-building and independent spirit. Integrating it into a fast-paced, shooting game like Fortnite risks diluting Minecraft’s brand, breaking the immersion it has built, and permanently ruining what makes Minecraft special. As you all know, Minecraft is a timeless sandbox classic that doesn't need an external crossover with a shooting game in order to stay relevant, and we want to keep it as the game it was meant to be.
