At the 2012 Star Wars Celebration, the animated, parody Star Wars series Star Wars Detours was announced. Robot Chicken co-creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich began working with Lucasfilm Animation to create the series and since have completed almost 40 episodes, with over 60 scripts ready to go. Unfortunately, after the purchase of the Star Wars franchise by the Walt Disney Company, the series has been set aside.

Currently, the completed episodes and all assets are sitting in limbo, only ever having the trailer and a small handful of preview scenes released to the public. Disney has not released the series due to the series not fitting into their current plan as they release the final movie to the Skywalker storyline and begin expanding the universe with its upcoming shows The Mandalorian, The Clone Wars - The Lost Mission, and the Obi-Wan series. 

With the quickly coming arrival of the Disney+ streaming service, it could be a completely reasonable fit to have the Star Wars Detours series added. In a recent interview with Dave Trumbore from The Collider Seth Green, in reference to his creation, said, "I think there would have to be such a clear and vocal fan demand to make anybody want to shift their plan." The purpose of this petition is to offer that demand. Help us to show Disney that we DO want Seth Green's hard work to be revealed! Sign the petition and help expand the Star Wars franchise!
