Upon announcing their retirement, the National Football League (NFL) should require players to once again perform in the NFL Combine. We are proposing a Geriatric Combine, an event that will give cash incentives to help retiring NFL players with financial stability, while also entertaining the young and hungry football fanbase. We want to see aged players perform the 40-yard dash, three-cone shuttle, board jump, high jump, everything. We want the measurables for these players as they are coming out of the NFL. 

When Tom Brady retires he may be 50 years old. That's ridiculous! And how fast is that concussed man going to run the 40-yard dash? Not faster than you or me. Players will finally be able to leave it all out on the table, and not have to worry about injuries- because they're retiring! 

Wasn't it just pathetic watching Football legend, Payton Manning, have to sing "Nationwide is on your side" while eating a chicken parm? We can't give these NFL vets something they can remember, but we can financially compensate them for further ruining their bodies for us.
