ACO Danny Blanchett has been derelict in his duties to protect the animals of Wythe County Virginia. He failed to issue citations pursuant to Virginia code and enforce statutes when there was egregious abuse and neglect. His failure to act resulted in 11 dogs being kept in a makeshift kennel, devoid of sunlight for over 4 years. His last documented visit to the property was July 23, 2012 when conditions were horrendous, yet he saw "no violations". In addition, he regularly traps, kills and sells the furs of other animals.
