Bonamassa has not bought into the commercialization of music and has kept his traditional American blues "pure."  A win now would remedy a long-standing snub from the industry.

Joe Bonamassa has continued to be true to what he believes in: making great new music regardless of what the industry wants. This is one of the reasons he is so true to is passion. And no one can take it away from him. It is also one of the greatest things I admire about him. Yes, he is an outstanding guitar player who also creates amazing music. But very few hold true to what they've believed from the start. Bonamassa is one of a kind! He would never choose fame over being who he sincerely is...a truly genuine musician with more potential than any of us could ever know (but we continue to see; we just don't know how far it will go). I could not be more impressed with how he has achieved fame (dedication and hard work).

I lived down the street from Joe when he was a child and remember i hearing him practice... so I have an emotional and personal connection to this man.

Strange Fruit, Nutbush City Limits, Seesaw, all the music on this album embody American Blues. Perfect!

This is, in my opinion as a long-time fan of man genres of music, one of THE BEST albums made, by two of the best artists in the business, this year. The public deserves to know more about them...but sadly they don't because we aren't fed good music on the major radio waves anymore.
