The Sony NEX-FS700 is a great camera that is used by professionals around the world. Like many CMOS sensor cameras, it has one glaring issue: highlight aliasing and color fringing. The roll off of the highlights is fine but when there is a sharp edge from over exposed to standard exposure, the camera has issues with aliasing and color fringing. You can see the problem illustrated in this video.

We believe this is unacceptable in a camera priced at the point the FS700 is. This was an issue with cameras like the RED One and the Canon C300 which was later fixed with a firmware update. Sony could implement a firmware update that would fix this problem but many believe they are choosing to focus on the F5 and F55 cameras rather than fix a major issue with one of their most popular cameras to date.
