GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) has already devastated a lot of farmers in Bharat and beyond, it’s time to Ban GMO in Bharat.

 

GMO worldwide, in different countries, different societies, counties, regions, is being banned. Not only that, there are some countries who are considering going beyond just banning and making any activity related to GMO as a Criminal offense. We do know that ultimately, our dear farmers, our “Annadata” are the ones who may suffer and it would be of utmost important to support, protect and enable them to make the transition from evil GMO, to all Organic, natural farming.

 

Our Kids, Our Future Citizens, deserve food which does not have GMO, Pesticides, and other unnatural substances in them. We owe to innumerable farmers who committed suicide due to “Evil that GMO is” and their enormous contributions that they had made for us. One lost farmer means the lost wealth of agricultural knowledge that they inherit from their generations and there is no technological advancement, IT, or science that can ever replace that. Even kids like my daughter(3rd grade) know this and cares for the “#GMOFreeBharat” and “#GMOFreeWorld”.  She wrote a letter to the US Government and in that she said : “… India used to be GMO free, Americans told them to eat GMO foods too…”

 

Our hearts ache with the bondages of GMO that has been allowed to grown so strong and we know that in this time of change we have the power of good that has already started to come together and is strong enough to make this great and rightful change happen! Countries like Russia, Pakistan, European countries, even State of Vermont in USA, State of Oregon counties in USA have banned GMO, Why Not Bharat? Russian authorities are even going further to mark any GMO activity as Criminal Offense!

 

As one great step of New Bharat, New Government that you could help us take is by helping put a Nationwide Ban on GMO and creating laws to protect farmers and consumers against any GMO activity!
