Philly ReNew is a program to assist fathers transition from incarceration into being positive functional members of society.

Why support a program that assists ex-offenders?
 70% of Philly ReNew grads do NOT return to prison!
 Philly ReNew men are 18 and older; GED or equivalent; Family Works eligible;
committed any type of offense.
 Philly ReNew has successfully served 400 participants in 3 years.
 Of the 400, 80% are employed and/or enrolled in school.
 Philly ReNew is 80% less expensive than one year of incarceration- $33 per day
compared to $90 per day.
 The recidivism rate of Philly ReNew participants is 30% lower than the general
Philadelphia rate.
 Over 3 years, Philly ReNew has saved hundreds of thousands of dollars and
enhanced public safety.
