Nintendo Game Freak Pokemon XY: Add a Pokemon IV checker to all wireless Pokemon trades

The Issue

Dear decision makers of Pokemon X and Y...

You already have a diffuse IV checker in the game, in Kiloude city. Because you know that people care about Pokemon stat potentials, but we also care about equal value Pokemon trade security online.

As breeders of the most valuable Pokemon available, we recently lost all forms of online security for our time and effort invested in X and Y. Stranger distrust is becoming a major problem. We are not trying to exploit your game. We are trying to increase the availability of the most exciting trades the Pokemon universe has to offer, for everyone.

We want access to the information that lets us safely trade with any passerby or aquaintance that is shown to us in your Player Search System and on the GTS as well. Pressing Select while in the wireless trade summary is a good, non-intrusive way to present IV numbers.

- You recently blanket-patched Instacheck as an IV checking tool in trades.
Even though it could be used for shiny value checking, that's your design flaw.
Now scammers are free to advertise their random pokemon as 5IV competitive ones.
Nintendo has taken no responsibility to punish any bad player behavoiurs online, not even in the form of a player reporting/flagging system or other reputation indicators.

- There was no real reason to encrypt trade traffic, as shiny is just a skin color.
Is Pokemon XY allowed to say that one skin color has to be rarer/weaker than others?

- Non-egg shiny methods, like friend safaris, are severly limited and do not even generate pokemon that are close to viable in competitive VGC. They will never be.
Because all pokemon cannot be caught there and they cannot have egg moves.

- Shiny value trading has sprouted many thriving new online communities where people are exchanging these pokemon with people who have never seen a shiny.

- The chance of getting a competitivly viable shiny with the Masuda method, using two 5iv parents with eggmoves and the correct nature is: 1/6 for getting the right random stat, and then 1/683 for getting your own shiny value on that egg. That means perfect shiny breeding has gone from a reasonably fast social experience to a 1/4098 non-social experience that wastes people's free time and electricity. Without trading for foreign parents, that chance is reduced to 1/24576. Yes. Twenty-four thousand eggs.

- Why not add the SV numbers as Braille-spots on the eggs, which we can spin around in the egg summary and figure out for ourselves like in Pokemon R/S/E?
Trainer shiny values could be revealed to the trainer by AZ after beating the Elite 4.

Adding back trade safety and competitive shiny hatching as ingame features would not hurt your game at all, and you would actually make Pokemon even more social

Sincerely / The competitive shiny community
