Another Incline Village bear killed last night by Carl Lackey of NDoW. Thanks to Carl we are down to three bears left in this area. A woman left her doors open with fruit and preserves inside (after having done this countless time before), the bear got in, found his way back out, Carl was called, he darted the bear as he tried to run away. The bear climbed a tree and the sedative took affect (naturally, and any intelligent biologist would have known this), the bear then fell out of the tree and was injured so badly Carl shot him or her. We don't know yet if this was Grace or one of her cubs. If you live in Incline it would be helpful if you could request the Sheriff not allow Carl to respond to bear situations any longer...or soon they will all be dead.
