take immediate action to include Romani speakers in the official commemoration of the Holocaust at the UN.

The Issue

URGENT! TAKE AN ACTION AGAINST THE DICRIMINATION OF ROMA! SIGN THIS LETTER TO INCLUDE ROMA IN THE OFFICIAL UN HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY!!

The fact that Roma were excluded once again from the official Holocaust Remembrance Ceremony at the UN in New York dedicated to featuring invited Roma speakers and survivors is unacceptable.

With this letter we are asking UN officials for immediate action to:

-    inlude Roma in the official UN Holocaust Remembrance Ceremony
-    foster an inclusive culture of remembrance among the younger generation
-    send a strong political signal to extreme-right movements that “We Will Never Forget
-    recognize the appropriate place of Roma in history

SIGN THIS LETTER to join the camaign to establish 16 May as the International Day of Resistance against Nazism and Fascism. This symbolic act would commemorate the anniversary of the Roma rebellion in Auschwitz-Birkenau and all of those who sacrificed their lives so that we might live in peace and freedom.
