On March 26, 2014, you were quoted in the Mankato Free Press calling e-cigarette users, "addicts." (http://goo.gl/hejKFR) We are non-smokers, Senator Sheran, and we find your statement to be offensive and unbecoming of a political officeholder.

For you to continue to slander us for our decision is reprehensible.

We can respectfully disagree with your belief in the need for e-cigarette usage bans, but your language in this interview was completely inappropriate.

We have been called addicts, pushers, and junkies; we've had enough. We demand that you contact the Mankato Free Press and retract your statement and issue a public apology.
