Like the similar petition by Sam Menhennet to rename HD 106906 b "Gallifrey" in honor of the highly awarded Dr. Who franchise, I would love to see Keppler 22b renamed "Planet Namek" - either as an official or secondary title - in honor of Akira Toriyama's famous Dragon Ball franchise.  The second adaption of the series, Dragon Ball Z, has touched not only many Japanese and Americans alike, but has a worldwide following and is continually being remade and rereleased in different fashions.  Like Menhennet, I would love to someday tell my children the tale of how we found the planet where the Dragon Balls were first crafted, and the home planet of one of the series' favorite characters, Piccolo!
