Sarah Van Orden is a 16 year old girl with Morquio A Syndrome, she has learned to walk 6 times and has almost died once and never lets it get her down. Sarah inspires to be like Ellen DeGeneres and needs YOUR help to get on the show.

Morquio A syndrome is a rare congenital disorder caused by the absence or malfunctioning of an enzyme involved in an important metabolic pathway, leading to problems with bone development, growth and movement.

To get on the Ellen show, you need to fill out an application. Being that Sarah is under 18 years old, her mother would have to fill out a permission slip AND tell Sarah's story on the show. Sarah wants to be able to take charge and tell her own story to the world. Although her mother has her own valuable story; the story coming from Sarah would mean a lot more to people in the same position as she is in. Help Sarah achieve her dream of meeting Ellen and being able to spread her story of overcoming adversity to the world!
