Fox 'NEWS': Stop targeting trans* (transgender) and gender diverse people.

    1. Petition by

      Wipe Out Transphobia

We are calling on the so called Fox 'News' channel to cease their mocking, lies, hate and misinformation regarding transgender and gender diverse people, which happens on a frightfully regular basis.

Transgender people, as a minority suffer from large scale misunderstanding, prejudice, ignorance, hatred and violence, of which a large proportion in the United States and beyond is perpetuated by the Fox 'News' Channel.

Transgender (trans*) people deserve to be allowed to live in peace and to find their own identities and truths without common ignorance, untruths and fictional information about transgender people being peddled by uneducated and increasingly hostile and biased 'reporters' and anchors at Fox 'News'

The transgender population has a severely disproportionate attempted suicide rate at just over 40% compared to 1.6% for everyone else. Sensational and factually inaccurate reporting is likely to have a huge effect on these statistics.

It is clearly not good enough to simply target trans* people because they are a small enough minority to not be able to sufficiently fight back; Fox 'News' should be corporately responsible for the hate and misinformation they are spreading.

Fox 'News', stop prejudicially targeting transgender people!

This poorly researched and Biased opinion passed as fact, endorses the discrimination of those such as myself.

Marginalizing and dehumanizing a minority does not make you stronger; it makes you a bully.

Yelling about it does not make you right; it makes you a loud bully.

Misusing your credentials to perpetrate your marginalization doesn't make you credible; it makes you a professional bully.

Bullies do not exist to make us stronger. They are antisocial people who can't accept responsibility for their own actions and words.

So, Fox News, are you bullies or are you adults?
