18 months since the “self-proclaimed Avatar” Nithyananda’s scandalous ‘secret life’ shocked the public; 10 months since Nithyananda and his assistants were charged with crimes of aggravated rape, unnatural sex, criminal intimidation, fraud and cheating… AND STILL THE ‘TRIAL’ HAS NOT EVEN BEEN SCHEDULED TO START!!  

Why should you be concerned about Nithyananda case?

a) This is a grave matter of public safety:

    - “Self-styled Godman” Nithyananda is a danger to the youth and a silently growing threat to our society, worldwide.

    - He has been ruining lives of thousands of innocent youth, women, men and entire families, by creating a “destructive cult”*^ (enslaving large number of people by misrepresenting Hindu religion and spirituality, then exploiting them sexually, physically, psychologically and financially).

    - Nithyananda is not only corrupting Hindu religion and Hindu dharma, but he is also corrupting the youth, by stripping them of their morals and values!

b) It is an issue of public concern and public interest:

    - The “public funds” donated for charity is being misused so that he can walk free, despite all evidence against him!

    - You (the tax-paying public) have the right to know the truth about the Nithyananda case!!!

Current Situation:

    - Nithyananda is making a mockery of the whole system**

    - 13 false complaints registered within 8 months of charge sheet, by self-declared Godman Nithyananda’s followers.

    - False complaints filed against whistleblower, victims and all critical witnesses.

What is the real motive behind these false cases? Is it to drag the judicial process and silence/frustrate the key witnesses, until no witness is available to testify?

What can you do?

Stop self-proclaimed Godman Nithyananda’s corruption and crimes against society!  

Sign this petition and tell the authorities to (i) END ABNORMAL DELAYS and START TRIAL immediately, and (ii) CANCEL BAIL (for all accused) right away to END WITNESS INTIMIDATION**.

** Case Facts: In the last 8 months, after the charge sheet was filed…

• 11 false criminal complaints (including rape and criminal intimidation) filed in India against the whistleblower, victims and key witnesses!

• 2 serious false complaints filed in US against critical witnesses/victims.

• Threats of more false complaints and legal harassment of key witnesses.

• Nithyananda and his followers ridicule the CID, the Investigating Officer, the police, and even harass lawyers of witnesses and several media.

• Nithyananda claims he is equivalent to a 6-year-old child and incapable of rape. But he refuses to cooperate with CID for mandatory medical tests (required of any rape-accused).

• So many grave counter-allegations (of rape, extortion, etc) have surfaced only after the charge sheet was filed by the Karnataka CID… and they target exactly all the key witnesses listed in the charge sheet. Why?
