The international animal welfare community asks that all possible charges against Miami Valley Bird Club Rescue, Dr Brauer, and Jim Tinnell be dropped as an amicable resolution to this situation. Dr Brauer, the employees of Dayton Vet Clinic, and MVBCR are heroes to the international animal welfare community. We ask that there be resolution to the Troy Parrots case which should have resulted in charges being pressed against Mr Ratcliff, an obvious case of animal cruelty according to Ohio Statutes 959.01 and 959.13(A)(1)(2). The Miami Valley Bird Club and Rescue initiated a rescue under the supervision of Sharon Karns and transferred the ten sickest birds in need of immediate vet treatment to Dr Brauer. This action saved the lives of those parrots. Avian welfare advocates around the world stand behind them and encourage you to reach an amicable resolution by not bringing forth charges against this group of heroes.
