When Maria Miller was removed from the job of Minister For Disabled People, disabled people celebrated. But it turns out her replacement, Esther McVey, is no better. In fact, she may be worse. Yesterday, Easter Sunday, she told the Daily Mail that "many of those classed as 'disabled' are not and that 'bodies heal'"
This claim is not only untrue in a significant majority of cases but also extremely hurtful to the 3% born disabled who will never improve.
