I support the Washington Interfaith Network's Bring DC Home Agenda on Housing and Homelessness.

As housing prices continue to rise, the crisis of affordable housing needs in DC is growing greater. Year after year too many homeless youth under age 24 fall through gaps in services leaving them with no safe place to go.  This year the number of families seeking shelter had an enormous increase-and the city ran out of shelter space.  The successful program to bring chronically homeless people in from the streets has not been expanded in far too many years. It is critical at this moment that DC councilmembers act for budget and legislative policies that have hopes of treating youth, families, and homeless individuals with fairness and dignity.

The Disposition of District Land for Affordable Housing Amendment Act

The Roadmap to ending family homelessness in DC. 

The Way Home Campaign, a strategic plan to end chronic homelessness.
