Hayes Valley is a wonderful, lively, popular and very heavily traveled part of San Francisco. It's shops, cafes, and Patricia's Green Park make it a public filled place on just about every day of the week. It is for just this reason we need to demand that the City of San Francisco place speed bumps on both sides of Octavia Boulevard that run along the park. Daily I see near misses with pedestrian's, bicyclists, people walking their pets, and even strollers. Car after car enters this street at a high speed as an extention of the freeway off ramp coming from Market St. Around 5 pm to 7pm, there are multiple vehicles that race down to Hayes St. It is only a matter of time before a person is killed or hit. Your vote to have these added can help prevent a horrible accident or death.
