In honor of the late Marty Eagle, whose club Marty's has served as a haven for nighthawks on Southside for over two decades, we submit that 10th Court South be renamed Marty's Way. We believe that Marty's reputation for fairness, his patronage of the Birmingham music community, and his commitment to the revitalization of the Magic City's downtown area more than justify his commemoration on a street that will not be the same without him.
