Cameras in Special Needs Classrooms

Within many school settings (and on many school buses) there are already closed-circuit cameras that overlook the hallways, the play areas, the cafeteria, etc. Cameras in ALL special needs classrooms should be installed in order to provide oversight and protection for children who may not be able to communicate for themselves. Cameras will help ensure the safety of our most vulnerable children and act as a guard against abuse and discrimination.

When children can't recount what happens to them, a camera is the only 'voice' they can have. Special educators who are good at what they do will have no problem with cameras in their classrooms!

This will stop the corruption that has been allowed to prevail. These students can be educated without the high drama.

It gives children who are unable to speak and /or defend themselves better protection and to dedicated teachers a defense against unlawful accusations.

My daughter has special needs and can not communicate like most children her age. She can not tell me if someone is doing things to her or hurting her or if she is hurting. They all need protecting and what's the best way to do that by having cameras in the classrooms as well as anywhere on school property and bus they may go. Protect our children.
