The parents and teachers of this community have lost all faith and trust in Superintendent Grant. We question his morals and ethics. We are disgusted that instead of beginning the necessary procedures to fire a teacher charged with child abuse, he thought it was okay to place her into another classroom to work with children with special needs. He failed to do his job of caring for the safety and well-being of our children. He failed us, and failed our kids. While we appreciate his apologies to us and his promises to seek new policies and procedures, they are empty words after a lack of action. Too little, too late. We believe that by removing him from his position, we can then rebuild trust that the Brentwood Union School District has the best interest of our children as their main focus.
