Without rewards for 2nd and 3rd place alliances, non-boosters will be unable to compete and Battledawn will inevitably die. It may not happen right away, but over time it will become clear. Non-boosters will get tokens whenver they win (nobody can win every era) whereas boosters will have mass tokens for every era they play.
