The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is closing 2 churches in Frankford in an area that desperately needs the presence of the Catholic Church. These churches are solvent, financially and otherwise, contribute to the Archdiocese and one of them has their own staffing. We do not understand why we are being closed and we want to keep a church in Frankford open - our community is being abandoned by the Catholic Church.
