UPDATE 10/20/2025
🎉 Exciting Update! Refunds Approved! 🎉
Good afternoon and Happy Monday, everyone! ☀️
I have the news that so many of us have been waiting for and I couldn’t be happier to share it!
After speaking directly with the Ticketmaster representative who reached out to me over the weekend, I’ve officially been approved for a refund for the tickets I purchased to attend the Chris Brown Breezy Bowl in Raleigh, NC on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. 🙌🏽
If you purchased your tickets through Ticketmaster, here’s how you can request your refund:
1️⃣ Log in to the account used to purchase your tickets.
2️⃣ You can chat or message customer service to request your refund. If you prefer to speak to someone, you can call 800-653-8000.
3️⃣ The representative you speak with won’t make the refund decision themselves. They will document your request and forward it to the escalation department.
4️⃣ The escalation department will then review your case and make the final decision.
5️⃣ Please double-check your contact information to make sure it’s current so Ticketmaster can reach you quickly.
I’m continuing to advocate for myself and for everyone who went through the same experience. The above steps are all the information I’ve received so far. If you don’t hear back after submitting your request, I’ll do my best to follow up with Ticketmaster on your behalf.
📧 The best way to reach me is by email at alison@alisonsellscars.com.
You can also comment on social media to let me know you’ve reached out.
Finally, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who signed, shared and supported the petition. Your voices truly made a difference. This would not have been possible without our collective effort. 💪🏽❤️
This is proof that when we use social media to lift each other up and stand together for what’s right, amazing things can happen.

ORIGINAL POST 10/14/2025
My sister and I were eagerly looking forward to the Chris Brown Breezy Bowl concert at the Carter Finley Stadium in Raleigh, NC. My sister, who suffers from multiple sclerosis and other chronic health conditions, and I had saved up for months to purchase these tickets. This was a momentous event for us, something we had been anticipating with great excitement.
However, our experience turned into a nightmare due to poor traffic management by the city of Raleigh. We were caught in an unbearable two-hour traffic jam that spanned just one mile leading up to the parking area. As a result, we missed a significant portion of the entirety of the concert. This was not just our experience; countless others who were set to attend faced the same ordeal and were left frustrated and disappointed in this same traffic ordeal.
The Chris Brown Breezy Bowl concert was supposed to be a joyful occasion, an unforgettable night of music and entertainment. Instead, many attendees were left stuck on the road, unable to enjoy the event they paid for. Traffic congestion is a common issue at large events, yet there was a glaring lack of city resources mobilized to control it on this particular night.
We are calling on the concert organizers (Live Nation) and the city officials in Raleigh to take immediate responsibility for this major oversight. We deserve a refund for the tickets and parking as we were unable to participate at all in the concert due to circumstances that could have been prevented with better planning and resource allocation.
By signing this petition, we are urging the city of Raleigh and the concert organizers to prioritize better traffic management strategies and take concrete actions to ensure that such a chaotic situation does not occur in future events. This includes hiring additional traffic control personnel, deploying effective traffic management plans, and ensuring clear communication with attendees.
Sign this petition to support those who were unable to enjoy the concert and help us demand the refund that we rightfully deserve. Let's hold those responsible accountable and make a stand for better event management in Raleigh.

EDIT 10/15/2025
I spoke with Ally Kadlubar WRAL over Zoom this morning about last night’s incident. Since then, I’ve heard from two of my aunts that the segment was aired already. I don’t have cable, so I haven’t been able to record or share it myself. Hearing that it ran without accountability only underscores how important it is to speak up.
This isn’t just about broadcasting a story or sharing outrage. It’s about making sure people know what truly happened, demanding consequences and pushing for change. Social media is more than memes and arguments. It’s a platform for visibility, transparency and collective action.
To that end:
• We need a stronger, coordinated push. People sharing their experiences, demanding clear answers and refusing to let this slide.
• If you were impacted or witnessed what happened, your voice matters. Add your testimony. Share the petition. Talk to your networks.
We deserve better planning. We deserve accountability. We definitely deserve to be heard when things go wrong.

EDIT 10/15/2025
Below is the email I sent to executives at both Carter-Finley Stadium and Live Nation regarding the severe traffic and access issues that occurred during the Chris Brown “Breezy Bowl” concert on October 14, 2025.
As of now, I have not received any response from either organization. I’ll continue to monitor for updates and will post as soon as I hear back from anyone at Carter-Finley Stadium or Live Nation.
This matter deserves acknowledgment, transparency, and accountability.
I’ll keep everyone informed as this progresses.
Dear (Name Redacted),
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Alison Melissa Davis, and I am the individual who started the Change.org petition addressing the severe operational breakdowns during the Chris Brown “Breezy Bowl” concert at Carter-Finley Stadium on October 14, 2025.
What occurred that evening has left thousands of attendees, many of whom never even made it into the venue, frustrated, disappointed and demanding accountability from both Live Nation and Carter-Finley Stadium.
What Happened
Traffic gridlock extended for hours, stranding concertgoers just miles from the venue.
Many fans missed large portions or the entirety of the event, despite arriving well in advance.
Local media had already warned of this risk due to overlapping events with the NC State Fair, making this failure entirely foreseeable. (WRAL coverage)
The Change.org petition I initiated now reflects thousands of voices calling for refunds, transparency and meaningful corrective action.
Attempts to Resolve
When I contacted Ticketmaster last night while still attempting to get to the facility, I was told that refunds could not be issued, despite clear evidence that many ticket holders were unable to access the concert through no fault of their own. This response is unacceptable and inconsistent with the principle of fair consumer treatment.
What I Am Requesting
Refunds or Fair Compensation
Immediate review and establishment of a refund process for ticket and parking purchasers who were unable to attend or significantly impacted by the traffic failure.
Transparent Explanation & Accountability
A public acknowledgment detailing what specifically went wrong, including traffic management, staffing, and coordination breakdowns with local authorities.
Future Remediation Plan
Improved ingress/egress and traffic coordination strategies for all future events.
Clear attendee communication protocols to prevent similar issues.
Proper Point of Contact
If you are not the correct contact for this matter, I kindly ask that you forward this message to the appropriate Live Nation and/or Carter-Finley Stadium executive responsible for event operations, guest services, or community relations and confirm their contact information with me.
This situation is damaging to both brands’ reputations and has raised serious questions about accountability, safety and customer care. I would appreciate an acknowledgment of this message.
Thank you for your time and attention to this urgent matter. I am hopeful that together we can find a fair resolution for everyone impacted.
Sincerely,
Alison Melissa Davis

EDIT 10/16/2025
I’ve now heard from two individuals affiliated with NC State University and Carter-Finley Stadium. I’ve reached out to Live Nation and still waiting for a response. My next outreach includes Ticketmaster again, the Raleigh Police Department, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and parking vendors.
If anyone has direct contacts at these organizations, please share them with me. Every connection helps move this forward.
Let’s stand together to make sure fans are treated fairly and that large-scale events in Raleigh are handled responsibly.
Response 1 from NC State University and Carter-Finley Stadium:
Good afternoon, Ms. Davis,
Unfortunately, I am not the right contact for your concerns, but I hope another unit can assist you better or provide more information. Please get in touch with University Communications for any additional information.
I hope you have a great rest of your week!
Response 2 from NC State University and Carter-Finley Stadium:
Hi Allison,
As the event was a rental of our facility, any questions regarding refunds or a plan for refunds should be directed to Ticketmaster.
A complex operations plan for the Chris Brown concert was developed and executed by NC State, local law enforcement and parking vendors, knowing that the concert start time would coincide with regular rush hour traffic and would be impacted by Thursday’s opening of the NC State Fair.
In the days prior to the concert, a coordinated communications effort advised attendees to arrive early to avoid traffic and parking lots opened at 2 p.m. - five hours prior to showtime. This message was reinforced on social media, while real-time traffic and parking updates were also provided.
As always, a comprehensive review will be conducted with all involved agencies to ensure continued improvement for future special events.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
EDIT 10/17/2025
I just received this shocking response from North Carolina State Highway Patrol:
“Our department did not oversee this traffic plan nor did we have any official role inside the event location or outside with traffic direction.”
Wait… what?! 😳
An event hosted at a venue with a capacity of 56,919 people and no one can take accountability for traffic management? This is beyond frustrating. Someone seriously dropped the ball and we deserve to know who.
Thousands of attendees were left stranded, confused and unsafe. The lack of coordination is unacceptable.
We’re not letting this go. Keep sharing and sign the petition to demand answers and accountability!
