平成２５年度、佐賀県では、635匹が収容され、このうち飼い主が見つからなかった159匹が殺処分されました。翌年の平成２６年度は、自治体と佐賀の団 体、個人ボランティアの努力で犬の殺処分数は３頭にとどまっています。しかし、残念ながら猫の処分数は横ばい情態で、毎週、人間の都合で殺処分され続けて います。しかし、現在　社会の意識も向上し、命の尊さ、尊厳を重視した取り組みをしている自治体も数多くでています。佐賀県も動物の命を大切できる幸せな 社会つくりを目指し、殺処分即時廃止を公約し、取り組んでいただくことを請願いたします。　-　アニマルライブ

Saga prefecture , Japan  Stop Killing Sheltered Animals!

In 2013,  635 dogs were sheltered and 159 of them were killed( gassed ) in Saga prefecture, Japan, . But thanks to the volunteers and to their organizations and their help, only 3dogs ended up being killed in the shelters in 2014. As a society, we need to acknowledge the problem and to date our humanitarian law.
The policies of Saga prefecture must be changed in order  to be a No kill community. We demand that Saga prefecture become a no-kill animal shelter prefecture and change the policies and cease killing adoptable, treatable animals, young and old.
