・そもそも何があった？この署名の目的は？

2025年3月29日、任天堂株式会社は実写版「ゼルダの伝説」映画をAvi Aradと制作することを発表しました。
この署名では、Avi Aradの起用の中止を任天堂株式会社に求めます。

・Avi Aradって誰？

AviAradは、イスラエル系アメリカ人の映画プロデューサー、実業家です。
彼は若い頃イスラエル国防軍の兵士として第三次中東戦争に参加しました。
また、パレスチナで虐殺を続けるイスラエルのネタニヤフ政権の熱心な支持者としても知られています。

・なぜAviAradの起用が問題なの？

2023年10月7日から始まったイスラエルによるパレスチナ自治区に対する軍事侵攻では、5万人以上のパレスチナ人が虐殺されました。死者に含まれる子どもの人数は1万5000人以上とも言われています。
この軍事侵攻を支持するAradを任天堂が起用するということは、植民地化のためなら人間や子供を虐殺しても良いという価値観を肯定、喧伝することに他なりません。
殺された子供の中には、任天堂のコンテンツのファンも沢山いました。
虐殺の肯定は「娯楽を通じて人々を笑顔にする会社」という任天堂の理念に反していませんか？
ただちにAvi Aradの起用を中止し、国際社会の平和への貢献という大企業の責任を果たしてください。

・おわりに

私も子供の頃から任天堂のゲームには沢山親しんできましたし色々な体験をさせてもらいました。今もどうぶつの森やポケモンを遊んでいますし…
それだけに今回のことは本当にがっかりです。
ゲーム業界の従業員のはしくれとして黙っていられないと思い初めて署名を立ち上げました。

・What is the purpose of this petition? What happened in the first place?

On March 29, 2025, Nintendo Co., Ltd. announced that it will produce a live-action “The Legend

of Zelda” movie with Avi Arad.

This petition calls on Nintendo to stop the collaboration with Avi Arad.

・Who is Avi Arad?

Avi Arad is an Israeli-American film producer and businessman.

He served in the Six-Day War as a soldier in the Israel Defense Forces as a young man.

He is also known as a staunch supporter of Israel's Netanyahu regime, which continues to

commit genocide in Palestine.

・Why is the collaboration with Avi Arad a problem?

More than 50,000 Palestinians have been massacred during the Israeli military invasion of the

Palestinian territories that began on October 7, 2023. The number of children among the dead is

estimated to be over 15,000.

For Nintendo to collaborate with Arad, who supports this military invasion, is nothing but an

affirmation and promotion of the value that it is acceptable to massacre humans and children for

the sake of colonization.

Many of the children who were killed were fans of Nintendo content.

Doesn't affirming the massacre go against Nintendo's philosophy of being "a company that

makes people smile through entertainment"?

We call on Nintendo to immediately stop this collaboration with Avi Arad and fulfill your

responsibility as a large company to contribute to peace in the international community.

・Conclusion

I have been familiar with many Nintendo games since I was a child and had many different

experiences with them. I still play Animal Crossing and Pokemon even now...

That's why I'm really disappointed about this announcement.

As a member of the game industry, I cannot stay silent, so I started this petition for the first time.
