ตอนนี้ การท่องเที่ยวกลับมาบูมอีกครั้งหลัง Covid19 หลายสายการบินกำลังกลับมาเปิดให้บริการอีกครั้ง หลากหลายเส้นทางทั่วโลก

น่ากังวลว่าปัญหาที่จะตามมาคือเรื่องอาหารเหลือ 

ผมรู้มาว่าพนักงานทำความสะอาดและเตรียมอาหารของสนามบินนานาชาติหลายแห่ง (อย่างที่เมืองเจนีวา) ได้ออกมาบ่นว่าต้องโกยอาการเหลือมากมายจากสายการบินทิ้ง ทั้งๆ ที่ยังอยู่ในห่อ ยังไม่ถูกแกะกินด้วยซ้ำ

โลกของเราต้องเจอวับวิกฤตหลายอย่าง ทั้งสงคราม ความเหลื่อมล้ำ หลายประเทศไม่มีอาหารจะกินด้วยซ้ำไป ฯลฯ ซึ่งเราทุกคนมีส่วนช่วยทำให้มันดีขึ้นได้

สิ่งที่ทุกคนอาจมองข้าม เพราะคิดว่าเป็นเรื่องเล็กๆ อย่างอาหารเหลือทิ้งบนเครื่องบินเป็นหนึ่งในตัวการทำลายทรัพยากรสิ่งแวดล้อม

ผมอยากให้ทุกสนามบินวางระบบจัดการอาหารเหลือร่วมกับองค์กร สถาบัน หรือกลุ่มของอาสาสมัครที่อยู่ใกล้เคียง

ทางสายการบินเองก็มีส่วนช่วยได้ ผมได้ตั้งแคมเปญเรียกร้องไปยังหลากหลายสายการบินจากทั่วโลกให้ช่วยออกมาจัดการ ซึ่งผมอยากขอให้สายการบิน Bangkok airways หามาตรการ แก้ไขปัญหาอาหารเหลือ เหมือนที่สายการบินไทยได้เคยประกาศนโยบายออกมาแบบชัดเจน หรือถ้าเป็นสิ่งที่สายการบิน Bangkok airways ทำอยู่แล้วก็ขอให้ประกาศสาธารณะด้วยครับ

ขอชวนสายการบินมาช่วยกันโลกมากขึ้นอีกนิด

As travel resumes after the pandemic years, many airlines are rethinking spaces and services to offer, and much more.

These actions should be accompanied by the correct use and reuse of food.

Some of the staff in the catering and cleaning of aircrafts in international airports (eg. Geneva) denounce the enormous waste of packaged and absolutely intact food.

Humanity is facing epochal challenges (wars, famines, inequalities, etc.) which we will be able to defeat exclusively with concrete actions in our everyday lives.

Therefore even a "simple" flight has a negative impact on the environment if managed in the way it has been done up to now: without any attention to food waste.

Engaging the realities of the territories near airports, the institutions and associations of volunteers is essential to avoid unnecessary costs to the entire community.

Sign this petition so that one of the many situations where food is wasted can be resolved. I want to urge one of the popular airlines in Thailand - 'Bangkok airways' to announce its food waste policy for sustainability like Thai airways. Or if you already have one in place, it will be nice if you can share policies publicly. 

Only with the help of each of you will we bring about substantial improvement.

A plane flight is fascinating because it brings one closer to the Sky, let’s make sure that it also brings us closer to the earth, close to those who are struggling!
