Zak Bagans Glorifies Charles Manson To Make Blood Money Off Infamous Murders
The Issue
On August the 8 1969 Steven Parent, Jay Sebring, Wojciech Frykowski, Abigail Folger, Sharon Tate Polanski and her and her unborn child Paul Richard Polanski (8 1/2 months old) were savagely murdered. in their home.
The following night August 9, 1969 Leno and Rosemary Labianca were also savagely butchered in their home.
Both scenes had messages written on the walls in the victims blood. A word was carved in one victims body and also a fork was jammed in the abdominal area.
The most prominent message of all that people would remember forever was Helter Skelter.
The murders were carried out by the same people both nights.
The face for the murders would become one of the most famous faces in true crime history: Charles Milles Manson.
For Fifty years, the mass media, various musicians, film makers, documentary crews, and t-shirt companies have all made blood money off of these killings. Print media has consistently kept these murders, as well as the face of Charles Manson in the public eye and money has been made.
In some cases money went to the victims families. But not all.
On November 19, 2017 Charles Manson passed away.
While some coverage was understandable that should have been the end of a dark chapter in history.
However, a legal battle ensued as to who would get the remains of Charles Manson. In what became as some have described as a "circus" in the end the court recognized one Jason Freeman as the legal grandson of Charles Manson and he was granted rights to the remains of his grandfather that had been laying in a refrigerator at the morgue for nearly five months.
While on many public occaisions Jason Freeman promised everyone that granted the remains all that he wanted to do was give his grandfather a "proper burial" in a small and "private" ceremony the exact opposite has happened.
In short, Mr. Freeman lied.
A year before his grandfather's passing, Mr. Freeman had already forged a connection with Zak Baggans of the popular television series Ghost Adventure on The Travel Channel.
Bagans's spin off television series, Deadly Possessions, featured a television set that was allegedly owned by Charles Manson and was in his cell with him on the fourth episode of the first season of the series which aired on 23, April, 2016. Mr. Freeman was featured as a guest star to verify the Manson ownership authenticity for Mr. Bagans. At that time, he also expressed that he wanted to break the "curse" of the Manson family name. Mr. Bagans arranged for Mr. Freeman to be baptized on the show, thus supposedly ending the curse.
For the remaining time, Mr. Freeman exhausted every attempt to meet face to face with his grandfather in prison, with Mr. Bagans on hand to film and record every step of the way.
After the passing of Charles Manson, with the decomposing corpse acquired, Mr. Freeman (who was now using the name Jason Freeman Manson) decided that it would be best to take the body from the morgue, embalm it, dress it, the hands were so badly decomposed that gloves had to be put on for an opened casket ceremony. After this was held, the body was then stripped and cremated. Zak Bagans and the My Entertainment TV group were on hand to film every single thing that happened.
While some of the ashes were scattered, Jason Freeman and his best friend John Michael Jones who had long held Charles Manson as an idol, kept some of the ashes back, as well as the sheet that covered the body of Charles Manson in the morgue, funeral pamphlets, flowers that were on the casket, body tags and the wrist band that was a close up shot as it was being cut off to be sold (squares of the sheet attached to the pamphlet, the tags, the wristband, and vials of ashes), with all said monies going directly to Jason Freeman Manson and John Michael Jones.
On 28 July 2018 it was reported that Zak Bagans had purchased a painting by an artist calling himself Ryan Almighty. This painting was the infamous picture of Charles Manson that graced the cover of Life Magazine on December 19, 1969. Mr. Almighty used his own blood to create the painting with the final touch being the ashes of Charles Manson's ashes used in the eyes of the painting. These ashes went through a middle man, however, the direct source was none other than Jason Freeman Manson. It is reported that Mr. Bagans bought the painting for $2,000.00 to add to his haunted museum in Las Vegas where he also displays the false teeth of Charles Manson among other items that had been owned by Mr. Manson. Of course, this exhibit will draw in people to see these goulish pieces of murderablia with Zak Bagans making the return on his investments.
It is reported that the funeral and mortuary procedures that was filmed was fully funded by DRG before any broadcaster deals were confirmed. The reason for this was that the company was so impressed with the record of My Entertainment which produced it as they are noted for the hit television program Breaking Borders. The title of the funeral and the footage of Jason Freeman Manson's journey to meet his grandfather with the climax being seeing his grandfather in the casket is set to air on the Reelz network in America and Viacom across Scandinavia.
The footage of all of this is appropriately titled Manson's Bloodline and it will be a four part series to be aired in the summer of 2019 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Tate/Labianca murders. The series is executive produced by Joe Townley COO at MY Entertainment and Zak Bagans Entertainment, with DRG’s Richard Halliwell, Elin Thomas and Adam Barth also taking executive producer credits.
It should be noted that no mention of monetary compensation to the surviving victims family members has been discussed.
This also all comes on the brink of what is said to be the trial to see who gets the estate of Charles Manson set for December 2018 that has boiled down to Michael Channels who was a long time Manson pen pal or Jason Freeman Manson, the legally recognized grandson of Charles Manson. The estate is said to be worth an estimated $400,000.00, in part due to big name musical acts such as The Beach Boys and Guns N Roses who used some of Manson's songs.
This money mill has been going on long enough.
The coverage serves no other purpose than to titillate vicarious thrill seekers and allow others to profit at quite hefty sums at the expense of seven people who were murdered in cold blood fifty years ago.
The purpose of this petition is to call upon two people: Zak Bagans and Debra Tate. Both have some level of star power behind their names and both could put an end to this once and for all.
If Mr. Bagans were to do the right thing, he could end it alone without the need to drive one of the victims sister's through yet another set of painful reminders of terrible events that no one would want to relive. He could simply destroy what he has and persuade his production company to pull the plug on essential what boils down to a necrophiliac gaze at the corpse who has come to symbolize the epitome of everything evil and his grandson who simply riding on the coattails of the infamy of the murders hopes to cash in for his own greedy interests.
Ms. Tate and her family have been active at attending the parole hearings of every person involved with the killings whenever they come up. If Mr. Bagans will not do the right thing to put an end to this cheap exploitation that fills the pockets of vultures who have made blood money off of her sister for years, then perhaps she could attend one final hearing per se and do everything within her power to see that the stuff that Mr. Bagans seeks to make money off of is destroyed and that the film never sees the light of day and end the chapter of Charles Manson once and for all.
