In the state of Florida when a driver causes an accident with a motorcyclist creating a fatality, they just receive a citation. 

I am petitioning the courts, counties, and the Governor’s office to create a law that makes a person accountable for their actions. Whether it's taking their license away for a year or so, to probation,  making them take courses to be a better driver, giving them fines,  just make them accountable for their action besides a slap on the wrist with a citation.

October 21st, 2021, my son Zachary Caleb Roth, 27 was killed by a driver who cut him off as the man made a left turn in front of him. The driver, before making the left-hand turn, had applied his brakes, and then proceeded to make the turn in front of him. My son did not have the time or ability to make a stop. This 68-year-old man cut my son off as my son was riding to his father house. He never made it to his dad's house that night. This 68-year-old was on his way back to his job at Westshore pizza after making his pizza delivery run. He wanted to tell his coworkers bye for the night. 

The man stated to officers that night that my son did not have his headlight on. While watching the video, it shows my son with his headlights on. 

The impact was so hard you could see the car move and shake from the impact, and my son was thrown over 330 feet. That is no accident, just a careless driver!

 This man has no remorse for another human. In January this man filed against my insurance to pay for his car.  My insurance denied the claim. I have a copy of the video. I want this petition to make it the congressman, senator. I want a bill, a law enacted for those at fault and justice for the victim.
