Youtube recently started to provide AI-translated audio tracks. It's not on all videos but affected creators would have to manually disable it in their settings if they don't want their content to be AI-translated. Many/most creators don't disable it.

Viewers are not provided with a suitable way to disable this. Instead they have to manually switch to the original audio uploaded by the creator for every video whose audio has been AI-translated.

It's a similar story with video titles and description texts. They are most often auto-translated, without a viewer-side option to disable it.

This petition urges Youtube to provide viewers with a site-wide option to disable translations altogether. This option should give viewers the possibility to make the original audio (no matter the language), the original title and the original description the site-wide default. It should apply to both website and app, without having to do it on every device, but only once per account.
